What could be more relaxing than sailing on a sunny day with big puffy white clouds? I took this photograph of a sailboat zipping along the forested coastline in Gunboat Bay, which is in the Pender Harbour area of the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. Texada Island can be seen in the distance.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
