Photograph of an American mink swimming in the ocean at Gunboat Bay in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. I would often be able to see mink swimming along the shore here, fishing, or running along the boulders at low tide searching for tasty tidbits left behind as the ocean receded. This particular mink was searching for fish to feed to her babies who were stashed away safely in a nest under a dock. A photograph of her with a freshly-caught fish in her mouth is also available in my Animals collection.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
